decline意為“拒絕”，較為正式，指婉言謝絕他人的幫助、邀請等。例：I declined Mrs. Green’s warm invitation to dinner.(我謝絕了格林太太盛情的晚宴邀請)

rebuff意為“回絕，斷然拒絕”，較為正式，指很不友好地拒絕別人善意的建議或幫助。例：She rebuffed all his offers of friendship in the letter.(在信中，她斷然拒絕了他所有的友好表示)

辨：regard和consider

consider意為“考慮，認為”，指在作出選擇、決定等之前細想，也指經(jīng)過仔細考慮、觀察后而得出比較客觀的看法。例：She is considering whether to accept the customers’ advice.(她正在考慮是否接受顧客們的建議)
